How do you follow a TV spot with a cult following? Ostrom Creative was asked to refresh a long-standing ad set simultaneously loved and mocked by our entire state. Ostrom partnered with Ron Schara Productions, leveraging a strong production crew and the recognizable sports personas of Ron Schara, Laura Schara, Bill Sherck and hilarious newcomer, Travis Frank. Ostrom concepted, wrote and art directed three new TV spots built to appeal to anyone who has endured the smell, taste and feel of hard water. The OC team engineered a creative visual device that leveraged a doorbell, a persistent protagonist and a hard sell for soft, great-tasting water.
